Here's Danny, a true German tank of a German Shepherd. Danny was left at a shelter by his family and he's had a difficult time accepting what's happened to him. However, he's finally getting the hang of being fostered and is enjoying his life again. He loves to play with older girl dogs and will compete like an athlete for a ball thrown to both dogs. Danny likes to be the "alpha male" with any dog he meets but he's fine with humans. He does seem to have a preference for men though. While he likes his foster mom and is affectionate, he really lights up when he's playing with male volunteers so we'd like Danny to have a guy of his own in his future. Danny is a very healthy 5 year old who is both house and crate trained although he'd love to have the crate left open to allow him to roam. He's fine with cats, mostly ignores them and just loves to hang out with his human. Danny is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccines and is microchipped.
